
Train to get quicker with the Nike Zoom Mobile program.
Users don’t get quicker by sitting in front of a computer and/or a print ad — they are out there training. An extensive mobile site was developed for the Nike Zoom project which allows the hardcore athlete to access Nike Zoom content on their turf, their court, their track, and their field. The mobile site supports Basketball, European Football, American Football, Running, and Cardio. A 28-day training program is built into the mobile which teaches how one can become quicker.

From within anywhere in the .com experience, a user can enter their phone number into a Flash form and have a SMS push url sent directly to their handset. This url provides a direct link to relative content and/or a training content within the mobile site.

Each sports category features the following sections : Training, Quick Gear, Athletes, Downloads, Send to a Friend, and Retail Locator.

Athlete profiles include bio information and video interview clips. Training Gear profiles include product breakdowns and 3D rendered exploded product views.

The training program, developed by professional athlete trainer Matt James, is an intensive 28-day program geared at making you quicker. A series of drills are provided in both streaming and progressive formats. For those phones that support neither, detailed text/image descriptions are available.

From within the athlete’s signature move section a user can watch a slow-motion capture of an athlete’s move and view a video of the athlete breaking down the move.

Around the time that the mobile.nikezoom.com site launched, the iPhone was released. Nike Zoom was one of the first mobile/.com sites to promote iPhone formatted videos. Users can download an entire training program from the .com and sync it to their iPhone.
A download section provides wallpapers, commercials, and athlete signature trailers videos.

A retail locator is present within the experience. Users can locate a store by simply entering their zipcode into a form field or by selecting a state and filtering through addresses. SMS is also built into the mobile site allowing users to ‘Send to a Friend’ from within each category experience.
