Hit up the Jordan XXX3 event last night. Things were really starting to pop around midnight. I was able to grab a few raw snaps on my iPhone before my battery died. Rolled out to a few lounges after this and then over to Bourbon Street for some late night drinks.

In my hour of spare time today, I grabbed my camera and headed over to the 9th Ward District of New Orleans - the area most effected by Hurricane Katrina. Completely depressing — I was amazed at what I was seeing. Katrina had hit in August of 2005 and it is now February of 2008. 3 years later and the area is still non-livable. Most everything I saw was vacant, with the exception of a few trailers that sat on the front lawns of select houses that were rendered non-livable.

Just arrived in New Orleans to cover the 2008 NBA All-Star Game. The weather is definitely a nice break from the NYC winter.

Controversy at the polls — Due to the large quantity of votes submitted in the final hours of the NYC 1Vote, Nike is currently retallying all NYC votes. Will the winner be the 1993 Purple/White High or the Stash x Futura AF1 Low Hyperstrike?
